Ginger Oat Biscuits

2 ½ cups oats
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground ginger
½ - 1 cup crystallized ginger
250 g melted butter
1 egg
1 Tbsp golden syrup

Mix all ingredients and bake at 180° C (350° F) for about 20 minutes.
